Trans.FORM – First Bribie Printmakers Exhibition Opening

The First Bribie Printmakers exhibition “Trans.FORM” was opened at 2pm on Saturday 27th August by Brooke Savage, local Moreton Bay Regional Council member, at the Matthew Flinders Gallery situated at the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre, Bribie Island. The opening was a great success and enjoyed by those who attended.  This exhibition continues until Sunday September 4th so be quick if you want to catch it.

The exhibition prints are each individual artist’s expression of the theme “Trans.FORM” and they demonstrate a diverse range of printmaking techniques from traditional to contemporary including digital prints.

The First Bribie Printmakers is a printmaking group on Bribie Island with about 10 active members who meet once a week at the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre, Bribie Island.  They have a group exhibition once a year at the Matthew Flinders Gallery situated at the Bribie Island Community Arts Centre, Bribie Island.
